Welcome to the first tee. ‘Corboley’ is the English form of the name of the townland in which the golf course is built. This is a corruption of ‘Corr Buaile’, or ‘booley’ means a ‘milking place’, so historically this townland
has been associated with dairying. ‘Corr’ has a number of meanings including ‘a round hill’ or ‘knoll’.
