Natives of Corboley have reliably testified that until relatively recently fairies were seen at Corboley. An old house near the crossroads was known as ‘Teach na Siog’ or ‘The house of the Fairies’. A badly hooked drive from this tee is a subtle invitation from ‘the little people’ to play among their hills. The forfeit for ignoring this is a dance of the first movement of ‘The Fairy Reel’.
