Located at the gateway to Connemara, Bearna Golf Club is set in a unique and natural Connemara golf landscape of of granite rock, bog, gorse and heather. Surrounding the course you will authentic peat bog where local people have cut turf for many generations. During the summer you will see the stacks of turf cut, dotted all around the bog.
There is an abundance of interesting flora and fauna in the area. Bearna has used the natural lie of the land and the used the features of the landscape to give golfers a special Galway golf experience.
