Na Siain – (The Fairy Hill) – Bearna Golf Club
Natives of Corboley have reliable testified that until recently fairies were seen at Corboley, and an old house near the crossroads was known as ‘Teach na Sióg’ – ‘The house of the Fairies’. A badly hooked drive from this tee is a subtle invitation from ‘the little people’ to play among their hills. The forfeit for ignoring this solicitation is a dance of the first movement of “The Fairy Reel”, followed by another shot.
