West of Ireland golf Season has started. Preparations by our Ladies Teams has started in earnest as the first of the Homecare Instead ILGU Interclub competitions get underway this month.
On Monday 28th April, In the Challenge Cup, Bearna Golf Club play Portumna Golf Club with three matches away and two at home. The matches will start at 3.00pm.
On Thursday 1st May, the Minor Cup team will meet Gort Golf Club in the first round of the tournament. There will be two matches in Gort Golf Club and three at home. Matches will start at 3.00pm.
Bearna Golf Club will meet Loughrea Golf Club in the first round of the Intermediate Cup at 2.30pm on Saturday 3rd May with three matches at home and two away.
The first round of the Miele fourball will be played on Wednesday 7th May 2014 .Bearna meet Galway Bay Golf Resort in this competition. Four players in Bearna and Four in Galway Bay Golf Club at the same time.
The Junior Foursomes team face Loughrea Golf Club in Galway Bay Golf Club at 2.00pm on Saturday 17th May.
